The Rodriguez Brothers group was formed in 2002 wehn they recorded their premier CD titles Inroducing The Rodriguez Brothers. The Musc for this recording consisted of original compositions, by both borthers, influenced by Afro-Cuban and traditional jazz elements. The gropu soon beganto perofrm at many prestigious venues and festivals, including the JVC Festival at Bryan Park, Syracuse Jazz Festival, Iceland Jazz Festival, Blunote Jazz Club, The Jazz Standard, The Artist Quarter and a tour in Span.
